Half-Day Scuba Diving Tour

Marino Ballena National Park offers some of the best scuba diving in Costa Rica! The rich underwater world is sure to astound you; from the sheer number of reef fish, to underwater pinnacles covered in beautiful sea fans to the huge massive corals dotting the sea floor.

The tour leaves from Playa Uvita and the sites are a beautiful 15-minute boat ride away. Sit back, relax and enjoy the spectacular views of our rugged coastline. While en route to the dive sites, be on the lookout for sightings of whales, dolphins and sea turtles, depending on the season!

Full-Day Scuba Diving Excursion

This is world class scuba diving! Caño Island is all about abundant marine life and pelagic fish, with each dive site being unique. You can see whitetip reef sharks resting in a small cave, search under ledges, drift in currents or maneuver a swim-through.

Between dives, enjoy a delicious lunch (included) then relax & take a nap in the shade or hike a trail up to a protected archeological site and lookout with your guide. For those who want to be more active, you can always play a game of beach or water volleyball!

We leave from Playa Uvita. This is a pleasant ride that takes on average only 1.25 to 1.5 hours depending on conditions. Keep an eye open for sightings of various dolphins, sea turtles and whales throughout the season.
