Community Carbon Trees Costa Rica
Hey tree friends! Don't forget our cultural festival this Saturday, April 1. There will be a special painting class for children starting at 10 AM. Send me your children's names if you plan to attend. The cakewalk for trees is happening as well as an awesome puppetshow by Sara Luz and friends! It's going to be a good time. Come on out and meet our community of tree planters, host farm owners, soil makers, and activists of all ages and nationalities.
We are meeting at the big grocery store next to the church in Platanillo at 9 AM if you want to caravan in. Otherwise take the turn at the entrance to San Juan De Dios Valley and follow the road directly in to the river crossing. You will cross the swing bridge and take the first left. Follow this road until you see a sign that indicates community La Reina where you will take a right. Continue about 2 km and park in front of the little school and come on down to Rancho de Las Brisas at the farm of Alvaro and Teresa. It's going to be a tree party. We love trees! PS don't forget to bring A cake to donate for the cakewalk for trees.
